Herbs & Spices
The herbs and spices we sell are the best quality we can acquire. We do all we can to get organically grown products. Some of the herbs are grown in our farm herb beds and are harvested at their peak. We do not use pesticides or herbicides in our gardens and we do not irradiate nor fumigate products raised here.
Our dried bulk herbs are stored in air-tight containers in dark storage until shipment. They will be shipped in ziplocked bags. It is suggested that you transfer them to your own air-tight containers upon arrival to assure the highest quality. If you need a different amount of any herb than is listed here, please send an email. We are happy to offer personalized service on request.
Important notes regardng herbs: Some herbs are not recommended for internal use by the FDA. Others are contraindicated for pregnant or nursing women. These will be indicated where applicable.
The information listed for the herbs is NOT intended to prescribe. It is to educate you on the historical uses of herbs. There are often multiple uses for herbs and it is rather fun to learn about all the varieties of ways that wise women and men have used nature's gifts.
